Churchlands Primary School is a highly successful Independent Public School. It has a history of excellence in student achievement, academic, cultural and sporting. Students are drawn mainly from the western suburbs of Perth but Churchlands is the school of choice for many parents residing beyond the school’s boundaries.

The school accommodates students from Kindergarten to Year 7. The school commenced 2012 with four early childhood classes and thirteen primary classes, accommodating a total of 454 students. Over forty percent of students have a language background other than English, however this does not prevent them achieving at extremely high levels. The school’s focus on the arts, as well as academic excellence, appeals to current and prospective families. Over forty percent of students from Years 4-7 receive specialist music tuition through the Department of Education’s Instrumental Music Program.

The school staff are experienced, dedicated and talented They provide stimulating educational environments necessary to challenge, support  and motivate students. The classrooms are attractive, well resourced and every classroom has an interactive whiteboard. As a consequence of the excellent teaching and learning at Churchlands Primary School, student achievement is above expected levels with many students being awarded scolarships to attend specialist courses at government and private secondary schools.
