The aim of a Natural Resource Centre is to promote and increase knowledge of Natural Resource Management issues within the community. The Normanville Natural Resource Centre (NNRC) is a non-profit organisation that supports Natural Resource Management information and initiatives within the region. The centre opened in 1997 and provides a focal point for the community to obtain information through a wide range of free info and resources. There are seven Natural Resource Centres in the Adelaide and Mount Lofty Ranges Region, located in Adelaide Hills, Nuriootpa, Gawler, Mount Pleasant, Victor Harbor, Willunga, and Normanville. In 2003 a Natural Resource Centre Alliance was formed giving Centres a chance to share resources, ideas and expertise to more thoroughly meet the community needs of the region. The Normanville Natural Resource Centre is managed by a committee comprising of volunteers elected from the local community and is run on a daily basis by a coordinator and volunteers. It organises a wide range of seminars, workshops and events for landholders, students and the local community. Free Brochures covering a wide range of topics are available as well as an extensive reference library with most books and Dvds available for loan.Welcome to Normanville Natural Resource Centre one of the popular educators in your Normanville area.
