Bentley Primary School is a distinctive school with an inclusive approach to improving the outcomes of students from many different countries. There is a large cohort of Indigenous students. Set in a low socio economic area, this school has a focus on making a difference to students, providing them with a safe and structured learning environment. The school has an ethos centred on building a family community and focuses on values of respect, active citizenship and environmental sustainability. Our vision is to ensure all students are given every opportunity to succeed.

Strategic, operational and classroom planning for improvement is evidence based and reflects systemic priorities and contextual needs of the community.

Whole school Literacy Plans specifically focus on students with diverse needs and support programs are collaboratively designed and implemented by experienced teachers to ensure student outcomes are maximised.
