Big Music

Australia Private Schools introduces Big Music in Crows Nest, for all your education and learning needs.

Big Music also runs one-on-one private coaching sessions for bass guitar, banjo, harmonica, ukulele, saxophone, violin and flute.

Private Coaching is available in all instruments 7 days a week, subject to coach availability.

Big Music also offers weekly group workshops for one hour in guitar, drums, bass and keyboard. Our sessions have a maximum of four to five players giving you plenty of individual attention. Session participants are also closely matched according to their age and experience level.

Big Music adopts a philosophy of learning to play primarily through songs. You don’t need to be able to read music. This approach is not only more fun, but it keeps players motivated and inspired. We actively encourage players to develop their own musical taste and come to us with suggestions of what to play. The more you play the songs you enjoy, the more you will want to practice and the better musician you will become.

Many of the players who attend instrument coaching sessions may also wish to participate in the band program and vice versa. We have a process in place to co-ordinate players and song choice across the board. This means that you can learn songs in an instrument session, which you can then play in a band.
